Janet Rundquist
Growing up on the prairies, hills and mountains of Wyoming, Janet was emotionally impacted by the sounds, the feel and the visual aspects of the landscape and atmosphere. Her many experiences outdoors have compelled her to reach inward as well as beyond this world in order to intuitively and abstractly express the powerful sensations found only by being isolated in nature.
Janet resides in Colorado and has shown her artwork in galleries and juried exhibitions throughout the state as well as internationally. Janet has won many awards for her works, was ‘artist in residence’ in Chacala, Mexico and teaches private and group abstraction workshops. Janet is represented by Osmosis Art Gallery in Niwot, Colorado.
