Curtis Ghent
Curtis Ghent is a Colorado native, who has been a professional landscape photographer for the past five years. When asked about Colorado he often responds “I am always inspired by the beauty, grandness and how dramatic it can be. It is a gift we all should cherish. I love the change of the seasons when the landscape takes on a new set of sights, sounds and smells.”
Although the majority of Curtis’ photography skills are self-taught, he has taken several classes and studies the work of other photographers. However, he believes that time spent in the field experimenting with different techniques is the best teacher. Curtis currently displays his photography in the Colorado Mountain Art Gallery in Georgetown, The Art Center & Gallery of Estes Park, and at Skinny’s in Breckenridge, Colorado. In the summer he travels to art shows throughout Colorado and neighboring states. His photography on slate and tile decorates homes and offices from coast to coast, as well as the lobbies of REMAX Advanced and Bank of Commerce Mortgage in Fort Collins, Colorado. Curtis is the photographer for the Vail Valley Foundation assigned to photograph the World Cup ski races held each year in Beaver Creek, Colorado.
Curtis currently resides in Loveland, Colorado.
