Bitfactory Studios are 15 work studios, completely renovated June 2014 – February 2015 and located behind Bitfactory Gallery. The studio tenants are an array of artist and businesses. Studios 103 through 108 are on the first floor, while studios 201/202 through 212 are on the second floor. The studios are open late for First Friday Art Walks as well as Third Fridays and special events hosted by the tenants. Many of the studios are open during the week as well so please feel free to stop by anytime.

Studio 208 – QUÁNA MADISON

QUÁNA MADISON is a cosmopolitan renaissance woman. She expresses herself as an artist, author, socratic teacher, keynote speaker, arts advocate and creative executive coach. Born in Kansas, raised in Missouri, a former New Yorker, and a former Shanghai, China expatriate, she now resides in Denver, Colorado. Quána is a recent breast, ovarian and uterine cancer survivor/previvor and a Fibromyalgia Warrior Queen. She serves her local community as a board member for the Santa Fe Arts District in Denver.

Quána creates contemporary abstract paintings for interior decor and gifts. Her artistic process is a flavorful recipe that incorporates gestural painting, conceptual art, abstract expressionism, color therapy and integrated body, mind and spirit philosophies.

She is the author of the new motivational memoir, LoSing Strength and Dexterity. As a scholar, Quána is passionate about critical disabilities studies, Black feminist thought, arts-based wellness practices, leadership studies, personal empowerment and global sustainable peace. A graduate of New York University and Colorado College, Quána holds an MA in Education and a BA in Philosophy.

Bridge the Ink Art Gallery is a gallery featuring local, national and international tattoo artists – highlighting their art work and skills beyond inking the skin. Bridge the Ink also features a number of local artists, ranging from graphic design to ceramics.
