Our society has a difficult time any dialogue dealing with sexual violence. My work is designed to force individuals to talk about this disturbing topic and at the same time enjoy the beauty and craftmanship of the objects inspired by sexual assault; an “entertaining provocation”. I create art that paradoxically melds elegant sexuality with the ugliest aspects of sexual control and violence.
