Pastel Society of Colorado’s Small Works Juried Exhibition
November 19 – December 09, 2021, at Bitfactory Gallery

Bitfactory Gallery is proud to welcome the Pastel Society of Colorado (PSC) back to the gallery with a new exhibition. Let’s Celebrate is a juried exhibition of small pastel paintings showcasing a variety of styles and subjects including landscapes, still life, figurative and abstract. Juror Deborah Bays had the arduous task of selecting 75 pieces from an impressive pool of 132 submissions. The public is invited to an Opening Reception at 851 Santa Fe Drive on Friday, November 19 from 6-9 pm and to stop by during December’s First Friday Art Walk from 6-10 pm. The exhibition is also on view during regular business Tuesday through Saturday, 11 am until 3 pm, and by appointment.

Deborah Bays has been published in numerous art magazines and books, has been granted Master Pastelist status with the American Pastel Society and is a teacher at the Art Students League of Denver.

PSC was formed in 1994 by six artists to promote pastel artists, the soft pastel medium and to encourage the appreciation and art of pastel painting. Bitfactory Gallery, located at 851 Santa Fe Drive in the heart of Denver’s Art District on Santa Fe, exhibits work by the best emerging and up-and-coming local, national, and international visual artists. It strives to showcase art that may not be a good fit for other galleries. Additionally, they host one major or renowned artist a year, bringing new and exciting work to Denver. The Bitfactory building also houses artist studios with the vision of providing a helpful, friendly atmosphere for artists to work solo or collaborate with others.
