The landscape, as far as possible from material day-to-day things, often thrills me, while providing balance and peace. I choose to paint the landscape with its variety of textures, light, color and movement, for the challenge, to learn and grow as an artist. My newest works are bold, direct and emotional and I believe they capture the power and excitement that I experience while out in nature.
